Downtown Troy Spring Clean-Up!

Business owners, employees and residents are encouraged to work together on Friday, April 20, in an effort to clean the blocks and alleyways around your storefront, residence or office building.
Step outside and lend a hand to weeding tree pits, flower beds and planters along with cleaning sidewalk and alleyways. The Downtown Troy BID will pair you with a fall cleaning leader and provide needed supplies to beautify our city!
Earth Day Block Party!

Celebrate Earth Day weekend with a Block Party!! An afternoon of Family fun with earth day themed activities, Live Music by Oobleck, Face Painting, Balloon Animals, local food, beverages by Hudson-Chatham Winery and more!

Annual Meeting & Discover Troy Event

The 2018 Annual Meeting and Discover Troy Event will take place at the Arts Center of the Capital Region with a look into the future. Learn more about upcoming downtown projects and initiatives and hear from local businesses about exciting things they are doing behind the scenes. Get to know your neighboring downtown businesses over coffee and breakfast, and learn more about the Downtown Troy BID with a presentation of the 2017 Annual Report.

Spring For Rent Event
Tuesday, May 15 | 9am to 11am + Networking!
This bi-annual event showcases available commercial and residential properties in the Downtown Troy BID district with an open house and guided tour between 9:00am and 11:00am, followed by a networking event at GreyCastle Security from 11am to 1pm. A guided walking tour of the spaces will depart at 9:00am from the Downtown Troy BID office, located at 251 River Street.
A program with full listing details and a map will be available throughout the morning for those that prefer a self-guided tour. These programs can be picked up at the Downtown Troy BID office located at 251 River Street.
RAISE . PLANT . GROW
The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District Foundation requests your support to grow Troy's urban tree canopy with the Raise . Plant . Grow initiative. The initiative will raise funds to plant up to 150 trees in downtown Troy, and will take place in stages as funds become available.
The first step will include clearing dead or dying trees, and removing stumps from existing tree wells. Once these tree wells are cleaned, in the fall and/or spring, new trees may be planted. The Downtown Troy BID beautification staff will mange watering of the trees.
