Chowderfest

It's Soup for the People!
Going into its seventh year for 2013, the Troy Chowderfest welcomes chowder-lovers throughout Capital Region to come out and judge who has the best chowder in the area. On the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend, over 30 restaurants fill Riverfront Park, with decorated booths and all sorts of creative chowders. It's a full day of fall food, live music, and family fun!
Prizes are awarded for best seafood, vegetarian, most original and overall favorite – judged by a secret panel of local restaurant critics. Festival-goers are able to vote on the coveted 'People's Choice' award.
Here's how it works:
Buy as many chowder tasting tickets as you'd like! $1 = One ticket = 1 cup of chowder. Everyone who purchases a ticket receives a People's Choice ballot. Help crown the People's Choice winner!
