We understand how overwhelming the new sexual harassment prevention regulations can be. We want to help with the mandate to deliver sexual harassment training to your managers & staff by October 2019. Monthly trainings are scheduled for July, August, and September.

Troy Night Out is a monthly extended evening that regularly draws thousands people onto the streets of Downtown Troy to Shop. Dine. & Explore. Attendees are able to enjoy countless art openings, music performances, fine restaurants as well as unique boutiques of all varieties.
Those seeking an especially scary experience during October's Troy Night Out, can be part of the Mysteries and Mayhem tour, presented by Old Troy Stories. This guided tour, will take place from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, and is sure to delight those in search of historically spooky and hair raising adventures. Tours are provided jointly by The Rensselaer County Historical Society and The Hudson Mohawk Industrial Gateway. Tickets are $15. $10 for students and seniors.
The 13th Annual Troy ChowderFest welcomes chowder-lovers to turn out and judge some of the area’s best chowder. Centered in Monument Square, guests purchase their tickets, explore the vendors and travel to the participating Downtown Troy restaurants distributing chowder from their establishments. It's a full day of fall food, live music, and family fun!

The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District Foundation requests your support to grow Troy's urban tree canopy with the Raise . Plant . Grow initiative. The initiative will raise funds to plant up to 150 trees in downtown Troy, and will take place in stages as funds become available.
The first step will include clearing dead or dying trees, and removing stumps from existing tree wells. Once these tree wells are cleaned, in the fall and/or spring, new trees may be planted. The Downtown Troy BID beautification staff will mange watering of the trees.
